It was established to mitigate the effects of Climate Change on the production of vegetables. The challenge was to have controlled environment for production of vegetables under any weather conditions. Gili had to go back to drawing board and involve multiple stakeholders to come up with the solutions. New seed varieties, hydroponics, feeding system and the plant feed, etc.
